The Full Form of AMIE is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers. It is an expert confirmation given by the Institution of Engineers India Limited (IEIL). AMIE Stands For
AMIE Stands for Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers. AMIE is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India)
There are two types of membership in this certification:
1) Technician Member: Its minimum criteria is to pass at least 12th standard with 45% minimum aggregate.
2) Senior Technician Member: There are two mandatory qualifications held for becoming a senior technician member.
Note: The candidate’s age must be at least 18 years and candidate should have diploma or degree in technology or engineering valid by the council.
The tests of AMIE are held multiple times in a year in summer and winter or June and December separately. The date and subtleties of the test are delivered in the Technical Journal. The IEIL has isolated the test into two segments; Section An and Section B.
Segment An is compulsory for all the competitors. In Section B, the up-and-comer should pick a particular part of the building program.
